The dotcom may have busted, VC’s may have stopped investing into dotcoms, but I am still fascinated with the Internet. There is a lot of it which remains to be understood, to be utilized. It is still a high breeding ground of disruptive ideas. Internet is an agreement for end to end connectivity. Content is just a social cash to draw an edge between two ends.It is this realization many of the dotcommers failed to have which led to their doom. Adding value to internet lowers its value and its value actually grows on it edges. First it was the web/ dotcom. Now a new phenomenon is riding the wave and it is called Social Networking. Social Networking would definitely something which could reach out the scale of webshops as it is grounded on the fact of enabling end to end connectivity.
